Senior Coordinator of Conservation Development
The Senior Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning, design, and implementation of the Program and all its affiliated projects. They are responsible for building and overseeing the funding development initiatives of the Program which include networking with diverse groups, project management, and identifying, applying for, and obtaining programmatic funding to achieve and maintain the Program’s mission. The Senior Coordinator of Development is responsible for supporting the Program’s mission by ensuring long‑term sustainability of the Program by maximizing immediate and long‑term grant and philanthropic support.
The primary function of this position will be to bring in funds to make the UWF Conservation Program sustainable over time. This position will analyze and solve the funding gap for the UWF Conservation Program and will analyze the best implementation methods for conservation programming and fundraising and implement projects with those methods.
Responsibilities- Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability (example).
- 5–7 years of experience in conservation, natural resource management, or nonprofit program development.
- Demonstrated experience with successful grant writing and project fundraising.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
