Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center is excited to invite a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic and collaborative practice located in beautiful Northwest Florida, specifically in the Pensacola area. Our practice is the only multi-specialty referral hospital between New Orleans and Tallahassee, offering a large caseload in a market with minimal competition, creating a unique opportunity to expand your expertise and career.

The practice is family-oriented, with a supportive and tight-knit team that genuinely cares about one another, both personally and professionally. We value work-life balance and strive to maintain a fun, collaborative environment where we actively engage in team huddles and celebrate with staff fairs and casual hangouts.

Our facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including a 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy in the OR, a CT scan (which will be upgraded next year), and two dedicated specialty surgery suites. We also have a neuro suite that doubles as orthopedics. You’ll work alongside a team that values continuous learning and collaboration. The practice has a long-standing team of tenured staff who are committed to their work and enjoy spending time together outside of the clinic.

Pensacola offers a beach lifestyle with a vibrant downtown that is pet-friendly, walkable, and full of arts, theatre, and festivals. The area has a welcoming community with easy access to the outdoors and ample land availability. It has an affordable cost of living compared to many other coastal cities in Florida.
