Walton County Animal Clinic (3 Days/Week)A beloved, nearly 40‑year‑old practice in DeFuniak Springs. The team is welcoming, clients are loyal, and the environment is calm, friendly, and team‑oriented. The clinic features digital and dental radiographs, therapeutic laser, Idexx in‑house lab, electrosurgery, and more.

This role includes a $75,000 sign‑on bonus

- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, collect diagnostic samples and interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide counsel around pet end‑of‑life care.
- Maintain patients’ medical records.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
- DVM or equivalent from an AVMA‑accredited school.
- State veterinary license (or eligibility).
- DEA license (or eligibility).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted (more with help).
