Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing high-quality beverages for guests. Maintain a guest-focused approach while performing duties, assuming 100% responsibility for the guests' experience.
Responsibilities- Take orders from guests and beverage orders from servers.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
- Learn the names of regular guests and recognize them personally.
- Record drink orders accurately into the POS system.
- Accept guest payments, process credit card charges, and give change if applicable.
- Wash and sterilize glassware.
- Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks for bar patrons.
- Maintain bottles and glasses attractively and functionally for efficient service.
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area.
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer beverage questions.
- Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas.
- Serve food orders to guests at the bar.
- Report equipment issues to management.
- Assist in restocking and replenishing inventory and supplies.
- Thank guests and invite them to return.
- Attend scheduled meetings and suggest improvements.
- Ensure opening checklist is completed and the restaurant is prepared for opening.
- Review reservations, establish seating plans, and assign server sections in the absence of a host.
- Inform staff of food and beverage specials.
- Analyze labor needs during shifts and send staff home as needed.
- Greet guests promptly and ensure a friendly seating process.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or issues courteously.
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Take beverage orders, prepare drinks, and upsell specials.
- Recognize regular guests and provide personalized service.
- Record orders accurately and handle payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
- Report maintenance issues to management.
- Complete closing procedures, including cash handling and securing the restaurant.
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Open to trying new foods and drinks.
- Sound judgment, leadership skills, and experience.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Working knowledge of drink recipes and handling cash.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Honesty and integrity.
