Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time COOK positions at Navy Federal Credit Union, 3101 Navy Federal Way, Pensacola, FL 32526. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full time, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. Further details provided upon interview. Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and temperature; ensures food is attractive and tasty; tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures, and ensures refrigerators and storerooms are clean.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting; assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or accidents to the supervisor; attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Performs duties safely in a clean, safe environment and follows HACCP standards; adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to guidelines for proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.

• Requirement: 1-2 years of experience as a pitmaster or equivalent role.
