Overview
Hiring Immediately – Solar Sales Professional (full-time)
At Pro Solar, you are the key to your success. We are passionate about solar energy and helping families reduce utility bills and gain energy independence. You will be trained on all products and learn how to deliver interactive sales presentations, develop communication skills, negotiation tactics, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities- Manage a territory for the company with a population of around 10,000 people
- Become an expert in renewable energy and smart home products and their benefits to the consumer
- Help families save money through our consumer-focused sales practice
- Close contracts confidently with new homes and families while gaining outside business development expertise
- Make cold calls to sales leads or take calls from prospective customers
- Build relationships with customers by introducing them to solar products
- Answer questions about the product and meet customer needs
- Conduct business-to-consumer outside and virtual sales consulting and full-circle project management
- Prepare for appointments by building proposals, presentations, and energy audits
- Deliver effective client-specific presentations that provide a positive experience at every appointment
- Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment and revenue goals
- Maintain leads, opportunities, and inter-departmental communications using CRM
- Update notes on all client appointments in the CRM
- Discuss options confidently and close contracts
- Provide customer service and generate referral sales
- Identify prospective customers to generate a sales pipeline
- Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for each project
- Participate in company events to prospect and generate sales
- Participate in company training and meetings
- Network and seek opportunities to build a client base
- Represent Pro Solar’s brand
- Stay educated on the newest solar energy products, technologies, and financing options
- Other tasks as assigned
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solar sales or relevant outside sales experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
- Sales experience is required
- Enthusiastic representation of our company and products
- Ability to present information persuasively
- Competitive in nature
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to client locations (residential and commercial)
- Availability six days a week, including nights and weekends; some on-call availability
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years related experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- It starts with immense earning potential. The average annual compensation of a first-year sales representative is $90,000 - $140,000, but for top performers, the earning potential is higher
- Bonus and Commission
