General SummaryPerforms installation, inspection, repair, service, and replacement of various fire detection, alarm components, minor fire sprinkler service, kitchen suppression systems, and fire extinguishers, including hand portable, wheeled, and fixed systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform duties in accordance with NFPA, Federal, State, and facility standards.
- Read blueprints, electrical, and wiring diagrams.
- Use various hand tools and electronic testing devices.
- Document inspections using computers.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned spaces and assist the maintenance team as required.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and relevant regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent documented experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of facility operations.
- Experience with Facility CMMS software is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
- Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, chemicals.
- Must pass background check and obtain/maintain NACI clearance.

Salary range: $41.55/hour, with potential benefits including medical, well-being, financial planning, and incentives.
