Position: Journeyman Plumber or Highly Skilled Apprentice (Travel Work in Orlando)

United Trades of America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumbers or Highly Skilled Apprentice to join our team. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and regulations.

JOB Location:
Orlando, Florida

Pay Range: $23-$32 per hour depending on experience, PER Diem $100 per day worked

Approximate Hours working: 40-65 per week

MUST HAVE OR BE WILLING TO GET the following certs:
Fall Protection, Trenching Excavation, and MUST HAVE Scissor Lift cert

Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Plumbers to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing plumbing services for commercial projects, contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of various establishments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial buildings according to local codes and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of plumbing projects while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctions, and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to ensure their proper functionality and prevent potential problems.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Operate and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
