The Fitness Trainer is responsible for operating the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF) and for delivering a consistent, exceptional member experience.

• Operate the PE@PF group fitness program, including creating class schedules for members (Orientation and DYOP).
• Proactively engage members on the club floor, providing instruction on equipment use and support as neededapé.
• Promote the Judgment Free Zone® by interacting with members, offering assistance, and upholding club policies.
• Perform comprehensive walks of all fitness areas to maintain excellence and address issues promptly.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assess membership needs, and offer Trainer services.
• Greet members/guests at entry and exit, answer phones, and assist callers.
• Consistently clean and sanitize exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and all shared spaces.
• Maintain clean and sanitized restrooms following the routine cleaning schedule.

• 6–12 months of customer‑service experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Willingness to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally certified training certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Continual standing and movement throughout the club.
• Communicating in person or on the phone during shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shift.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Movement including bending, twisting, and shifting positions.
