Job Title: Medical Driver – Pensacola (FT)

Location: Pensacola, FL

Pay: $15/hr (base rate). Shift differential: +$1/hr for shifts starting at 10 pm (total $16/hr).

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm‑11:30 pm.

What you will be doing as a Med Speed Medical Driver

• Drive a company‑owned vehicle safely while transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
• Load and unload the vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Maintain safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean, neat, and orderly.
• Adapt to varying route duties based on client and business needs; route assignments may change over time.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and clients, building a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

What you need to become a Med Speed Medical Driver

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Age 19+ with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Excellent driving history.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination if required by local mandates.
• Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; handle varying physical demands.
• Lift items off storage racks; walk and stand for long periods.
