As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the ancillary team, including catering, maintenance, transport, domestic services, and activities within our Leonard Cheshire care home.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff across multiple service areas.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost‑effective, compliant delivery.
- Oversee health & safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure high standards in catering, domestic, and transport services.
- Support the delivery of engaging, inclusive activities for residents.
- Oversee rostering, recruitment, and performance management.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
- Promote Leonard Cheshire values of positivity, pride, and pioneering spirit.
- Experience supervising staff and managing services or facilities.
- Proven ability to work within and manage a budget.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance.
- Experience working with people with disabilities (desirable).
- A full, clean driving licence if driving is required.
- A genuine commitment to promoting independence and inclusion.
