Retail Cleaner

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores.

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies.
• Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

Do you enjoy working in a customer focused environment to ensure cleanliness? Do you love working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers? Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.

An eye for detail and cleanliness. A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Penzance store on a fixed term basis until March 2026. 24 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Monday: 05:30 to 09:30
• Tuesday:
  Day off
• Wednesday: 05:30 to 09:30
• Thursday: 05:30 to 09:30
• Friday: 05:30 to 09:30
• Saturday: 05:30 to 09:30
