Build the financial foundation of a next-generation semiconductor manufacturing facility. A global leader in outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services is expanding its advanced manufacturing operations in Arizona and is looking for a Factory Plant Senior Accounting Manager to join the team.
What You’ll Own Plant Accounting & Financial Reporting- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement results and explain key fluctuations.
- Partner with corporate accounting on consolidation, technical accounting, and external reporting.
- Ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee standard costing, cost rollups, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and partner with operations on cost improvement.
- Manage inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
- Ensure accurate accounting for WIP, finished goods, and scrap.
- Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide actionable insights into cost drivers, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Support Cap Ex planning, tracking, and fixed asset accounting.
- Help leadership make informed investment and operational decisions.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong controls over financial reporting, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement.
- This position will initially be an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the Arizona operation scales.

- We’re seeking an accounting leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with hands‑on manufacturing finance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Strong cost and inventory accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Manufacturing accounting experience required.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP/financial systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred.
- The role will initially be based at a temporary Phoenix, AZ location while the new facility is under construction. Once operations begin, the position will transition to the Peoria, AZ facility.
