The Assistant Teacher supports teachers and the director by creating a caring, safe environment for children, assisting in activities that enhance overall care and education quality, and documenting and communicating children’s interests and progress.

• Assist in implementing curriculum activities andasse encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; maintain cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Encourage self‑help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure smooth daily transition from home to the child care center.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High energy and ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check and health screening.

• First Aid / CPR card.
• Fingerprint card.
• Food handler's card.
• TB test within a year.
