Overview
Traveling Superintendent - Commercial T.I role at Talent Sphere Staffing Solutions. Salary: $90k+ base (significant range depending on experience and interview performance). We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Traveling Superintendent to oversee high-end retail tenant improvement projects and restaurant buildouts. This position requires extensive travel to various locations, with flexibility and adaptability to manage projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Project Oversight:
Manage all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project closeout. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality specifications. - Site Management:
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members. - Quality Assurance:
Enforce high-quality standards and ensure workmanship meets or exceeds client expectations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address deviations from project specifications. - Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor project budgets and work with the project management team to control costs. Provide input on value engineering opportunities without compromising quality. - Client Interaction:
Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders. Communicate project status, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process. - Travel Requirements:
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel extensively to project sites as needed. Effectively manage time and resources while working in diverse locations.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end retail tenant improvement projects and/or restaurant buildouts. Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget. - Skills:
Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. - Communication:
Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members. - Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel extensively based on project requirements. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- $90k+ Base Salary (Significant range depending on experience and interview performance).
