Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist to join a research-oriented academic department with substantial NIH funding.
Responsibilities include providing outpatient psychiatric care (adult diagnosis such as depression and anxiety), with some inpatient support (up to 15%), and seeing an average of 10 patients daily through in-person and telehealth visits.
Teaching, supervision, and mentoring of residents and medical students are key components, along with participation in department meetings and grand rounds.
Collaboration with psychiatrists and psychologists for patient management and opportunities for academic and research involvement are available.
The role involves a faculty appointment, clinical duties Monday through Friday, and paid weekend call (~12 times a year).
QualificationsABPN certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, with an interest in an academic setting. Open to experienced psychiatrists and new graduates.
