Position: Padres Production Technician (Peoria, AZ)

DEPARTMENT: Scoreboard Operations

REPORTS TO: Director, Scoreboard Operations

STATUS: Seasonal;

Your role as a Padres Production Technician:

You will perform any number of job duties for the Padres Production team during games (e.g. – camera, replay, Ross Xpression graphics) depending on your skill set, at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, AZ.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • Being assigned as a camera operator who shoots game action for live stream broadcast and replays
  • Being assigned as a replay technician to provide multiple angles of plays
  • Being assigned as our Ross Xpression operator who calls up graphics for live stream broadcast

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most:

  • Being consistent, punctual, and having reliable attendance
  • Having a bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant job education and experience in TV production utilizing broadcast equipment above
  • Having camera experience, replay experience, video playback, or graphics operator at a television station or equivalent experience at a similarly situated entertainment or sports facility
  • Having thorough knowledge of the game of baseball, score keeping, and the Padres’ organization
  • Having an understanding of sports broadcasting, cabling and field production
  • Having the ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment

You will be required to meet the following:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
  • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • Available to work Padres games in Peoria, AZ, for the duration of Spring Training
  • As a condition of employment, you must successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check

Salary and Additional Compensation:

The pay rate for this position ranges from $21.14-$66.00 per hour. Part- time non-union employees are subject to federal and local minimum wage and rates will increase accordingly.
