This role does not require you to perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule: 8‑hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on‑call

Location: Peoria, AZ

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
• Explain all procedures to patients, ensuring all their questions are answered
• Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment
• Take x‑rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
• Document patient care services in chart
• Import outside imaging to office PACS
• Scan documents into EMR
• Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
• Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies, and report any malfunctions

• 1–2 years of radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital
• Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
• Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Arizona State license with the Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
• Maintain CPR certification
