Systems Analyst #JR

• Four-year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of three years related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Minimum of three years of experience in systems analysis or design, testing and implementation of computer-based information systems, including experience in SQL, HTML, mobile application development and database integration.

The Application Systems Analyst will work in a professional environment to provide high-level support to the City’s enterprise applications and systems. Some of the daily duties consist of supporting web, database, and workgroup applications, including installing and upgrading application systems; applying updates and enhancements; identifying and evaluating technical needs; facilitating implementations; working with users, departments, and vendors; conducting research; and supporting interface, reporting and data needs.

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Application Systems Analyst or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise applications.
• Experience with and knowledge of integrations, data flow, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in a municipal or government setting is preferred.
• ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
