Position Summary:

As a leader in this role, you will oversee personnel management, communication, and project managementaspects for a construction organization. Your responsibilities will include hiring and developing skilledemployees, managing project planning and execution, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders,ensuring project quality and client satisfaction, and overseeing the project closeout process.

A Day in the Life of a Project Manager:

1. Begin the day by meeting with the crew to discuss project plans and daily tasks, either in person or virtually.

2. Review and ensure the completion of safety inspections and equipment checks.

3. Monitor job progress, safety, and time approval by checking job photos uploaded online.

4. Approve job time for the team.

5. Visit customer or prospect sites to assess project scope and conduct surveys as needed.

6. Address and respond to questions and concerns from team members, crew, management, and customers throughout the day.

7. Attend scheduled meetings focusing on safety, job planning, and productivity.

8. Make necessary revisions to project plans to keep the project on track.

9. Perform quality control checks on repairs and reroofing projects.

10. Utilize Roof Logic for photo reports and annotate photos accordingly.

11. Conduct material inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies for ongoing projects.

12. Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

In summary, a project manager's day-to-day responsibilities encompass managing project plans, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with the team, customers, and management, and adapting to changes while maintaining a high-quality work environment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of roofing project supervisor (foreman) or 1 year as a project manager experience.
• Certifications:
  
  OSHA 30-hour certification, OSHA 10-hour certification, CPR;
  Certified Project Manager certification desired or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and adapting to change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including effectively supervising personnel and managing outcomes.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM, Roof Logic, SharePoint, Internet, and Viewpoint preferred.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• $70,800-$75,300/yr.
