- Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
- Job Type: Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt
- Shift: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm – Thursday, Friday, Saturday & every other Wednesday
- Location: Crisis – Peoria Recovery Response Center – Peoria, AZ
- Salary: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
- Sign‑on Bonus: $2,000
- Specialties / Licenses: Current and valid state LPN license
The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of a multi‑disciplinary clinical team. The LPN identifies the need for medical attention, alerts the Physician and/or RN of medical concerns, and supports the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy: Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.
- Coordinates care, including assisting individuals with making medical and/or other provider appointments as needed.
- Assists with intake process.
- Collects blood or urine specimens and arranges transport to lab as ordered.
- Monitors medication administration under RN supervision and maintains medication records in accordance with policy and state regulations.
- Completes clinical documentation as required and keeps abreast of federal and state regulations, laws, and Recovery Innovations policies.
- Ensures compliance with Recovery Innovations compliance standards, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Provides support to Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, including treatment and discharge planning.

- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current and valid LPN license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Preferably thorough comprehension of psychiatric nursing.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, indications, side effects, and interactions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Effective communication (verbal and written).
- Excellent clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to manage agitated guests in crisis and to implement behavioral management interventions.
- Must be able to pass de‑escalation training as defined by state requirements.
- Must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy if driving is required; otherwise a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Must be at least 18 years old (except where specific state regulations require a different minimum age).
- Travel required based on business needs.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines).
- Complete all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
