Position Overview
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the clinical leadership, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and performance outcomes of nursing services. This role partners closely with executive leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care, survey readiness, and staff development.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned RN leader who has progressed from hands‑on patient care into management and understands how to balance clinical excellence, compliance, staff engagement, and performance metrics.
This is not a maintenance role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all nursing operations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and accreditation standards
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering accountability, teamwork, and growth
- Oversee quality outcomes, KPIs/KQIs, and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain survey readiness and lead nursing efforts during audits and surveys
- Collaborate with operations, HR, and executive leadership on staffing, training, and retention
- Support budgeting awareness and responsible clinical resource utilization
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care, integrity, and excellence

Experience
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 year of Home Health experience (field or Director level)
- Proven leadership experience in nursing administration or management
Education Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN);
Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
Credential Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and insured vehicle
- Current TB test
- CPR or BLS certification
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
