Mark‑Taylor is hiring Service Technicians at multiple locations throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.

As a Service Technician, you will work at one of our beautiful communities and represent Mark‑Taylor through exceptional customer service while contributing to the upkeep of the physical asset and community grounds.

• Assist in the completion of make‑ready units to Mark‑Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of make‑ready units for the community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct minor air‑conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensuring the pool is in proper chemical balance and the area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re‑key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability, correct hazards, and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on‑call duty with the Manager of Facilities and Service and be readily available to go to the property if needed, in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.

• 1 year minimum multi‑family Service Technician or similar title experience required.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as an apartment turn technician, make‑ready technician, or work‑order technician is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

The starting hourly pay range for this Service Technician role is $24.00, commensurate with experience and dependent on the specific community's level of complexity. Service Technicians typically work a schedule that includes one or more weekend days and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule with additional shift differential pay.
