ACS Inspection Services LLC is looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in keeping properties safe by ensuring fire alarm systems are operating at peak performance. Responsibilities:- Perform testing and inspection of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning fire alarm panels, detectors, and notification devices
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure code compliance
- Document inspection findings, test results, and service reports accurately and thoroughly
- Communicate inspection results and deficiencies clearly to management
- Professionally coordinate with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) when required to ensure all work meets expectations
- Program, zone description and configuration of fire alarm control panels as needed during service calls or inspections
- Experience in fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and/or repair is required - minimum 12 months
- AES radio communication service, diagnostic, programming, maintenance, testing and repair - minimum 6 months
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable local fire codes
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification, level 2 willingness to obtain
- Phoenix Fire Alarm Technician (CSA) license or ability to obtain one. CSA within 6 months
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
