Controller, Accounting, Accounting Manager

The company is dedicated to helping agricultural producers across the United States manage waste systems effectively and sustainably.

We are seeking a full-time Controller to join our Skinner AgSolutions team. This on-site role, based in Peoria, IL, involves overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. The Controller will manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and cost accounting while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies. This role will collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning while ensuring adherence to company financial policies and regulations.

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and compliance standards
• Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus)
• Previous experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industry is advantageous
