Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Provider Compensation & Contracting Analyst ensures the accurate and timely preparation of financial modeling and scenario analysis for provider compensation which impacts the business performance of the health system. The Senior Analyst monitors and tracks internal activity related to provider contracts, and maintains a working knowledge of current provider activities & compensation practices. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for administration and optimization of a provider compensation administration software which includes report outputs and communications.
The Senior Analyst interacts, provides guidance, and presents clear compensation and contract information to organizational senior leaders in a professional, confident, and knowledgeable manner.

Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field
Experience:
- 5 years in healthcare, legal business, compensation or similar.
- 3 years contract management experience.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field Master s level coursework
Experience:
- Experience with finance in an integrated healthcare environment including medical group operations.
- Knowledge of: performance improvement methodologies, provider compensation incentive metrics including value based, benchmarking or financial planning.
Licensure/
Certifications:
CPA, CMA, CHFP, or PMP certification
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Proficiency in using Provider Compensation Administration software.
- Knowledge of legal forms and legal requirements for employed physician contracts and addendums preferred.
- Understanding of the provider compensation industry, trends, issues, risks, etc.
- Experience with database and decision support systems.
Other requirements/information:
Highly organized with project management experience.
