GI Hospitalist - Physician

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join our Gastroenterology department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

• Inpatient consults and inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology
  • Annual consult volumes:
    Pekin Hospital-180, Proctor Hospital-228, Methodist Hospital-528
  • Annual procedure volumes:
    Pekin Hospital-80, Proctor Hospital-124, Methodist Hospital-553
• Respond to GI triage calls and round on patients at all three hospital campuses
• EPIC EMR documentation
• EUS procedures, plus ERCP
• Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
• Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation
• Full-time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage
• 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients

• The compensation range for this position is $800,000 - $805,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
