Position SummaryThe Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) seeks fetal & pediatric echocardiology candidates for a pediatric cardiology faculty position.
Duties & Responsibilities- Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient and echocardiography
- Satellite clinics in the region
- On‑call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology
- Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Academic efforts including original research and QI
- Imaging QI for echo
- MD/DO or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for licensure in Illinois
- BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
- 3 years pediatric residency/3 years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent
- Significant experience or formal training in Pediatric & fetal echocardiography
UICOMP is one of the three regional campuses of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, with a large educational program and a strong research infrastructure. It collaborates with OSF Health Care Children’s Hospital of Illinois to provide comprehensive pediatric services.
