Salary: $545,000 to $700,000 per year
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks four full‑time Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. Roles include comprehensive patient care in inpatient and ambulatory settings, active participation in the education and clinical training of residents and medical students, and leadership of an emerging academic division.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students.
- Act in a consultative model, attending deliveries if preferred.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Children’s Hospital of Illinois and UIC subspecialties such as Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Develop and deliver academic presentations.
- Participate in shared call and special projects.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- MD or DO.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated experience teaching residents and medical students.
- Interest in academic leadership roles and scholarly activities.
- Competitive salary range: $545,000 to $700,000 per year.
