Private Practice Interventional Radiologist

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician-owned private radiology group practice with 100+ physicians providing comprehensive medical imaging and interventional services to ambulatory facilities, clinics, and hospitals throughout Illinois and in Michigan. CIRA’s multi-site platform has created a unique work model that has cultivated a thriving and enjoyable work environment with consistent growth and success. Our radiologists have developed positive, respected relationships in the communities within which they operate.

We are currently recruiting a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. The position is primarily based at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, with regular rotations to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. The position presents an opportunity to perform a full spectrum of interventional procedures including all vascular interventions such as high volume peripheral arterial disease, endovascular repair of aneurysms and dissections, and venous diseases.

All aspects of interventional oncology are part of the extensive services provided including TACE, Y-90 and thermal ablations. The position participates in the rotation of daily oncology and vascular clinics that are busy with both new patient consults and follow up appointments. Our interventional radiologists have cultivated close relationships with the medical staff, specifically surgery, cardiology, oncology, GI and pulmonology.

The position presents opportunities for faculty appointment, as well as supervising and teaching diagnostic, ESIR and IR/DR residents with the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria (UICOM-P). In addition, we are looking for candidates who have strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate relationships with our hospital partners, clinicians, employees and patients.

We offer a variety of employment model opportunities along with a generous salary and benefit package.
