Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Excellent opportunity to join a team‑oriented group of APPs, Physiatrist, and Neurosurgeons caring for neurosurgical and nonoperative spine patients at a Level 1 Trauma Center located in beautiful Peoria, IL. Practice consists of 8 primary neurosurgeons and 7 current APPs. Our comprehensive spine program is committed to educating, training, and mentoring APPs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• 4 - 10s or 5 - 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Predominantly outpatient service management of neurosurgical and nonoperative spine patients:
  The APP (Advanced Practice Provider) performs the following tasks in the outpatient setting:
• Obtain a patient history
• Perform a physical examination
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment
• Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic tests
• Formulate a diagnostic impression
• Develop and implement a treatment plan
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
• Prescribe pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies
• Facilitate appropriate consultations and referrals
• Provide counseling and education to meet patient needs

PRACTICE MODEL:

• 8 primary neurosurgeons and 7 APPs, 1 Physiatrist
• MD, APP, and Neurosurgery Residency service (UICOMP)
• Elective volume; 80:20 spine

Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20 - $70.09 Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics
