Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician Job Peoria area,Illinois USA,Doctor/Physician

Facility in Peoria, IL seeking Oncology locums coverage
Rates: $550/hr
Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 8 10 hour day shifts (starting at 7:30 AM).
Work-Life Balance:
No weekends and no call coverage required.
Consistency of Care:
Seeking providers with a minimum of three weeks of availability per month to ensure continuity in this new practice.
Support:
Strong on-site support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a multidisciplinary cancer team.
Technology:
Epic EMR for charting.
Privileging:
Full and Temporary privileges available; estimated 60-day timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including new patient consultations, admissions, and follow-up care.
Conduct hospital rounding as required by the patient census.
Collaborate closely with the in-practice APP for patient management, orders, and follow-ups.
Coordinate complex care plans with the multidisciplinary cancer team.
Ensure coverage for the practice when the monthly PRN Medical Oncologist is off-site.

Requirements

Board Status:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
Licensure:
Active Illinois (IL) State License and CSR are required to apply.
Certifications:

Active ACLS and DEA are required.
Note:

IMLC candidates will not be considered at this time.
