Staff Designer – Entry-Level Security/Technology Designer

Dewberry is currently seeking a part-time entry-level security/technology designer to support the Technology group within our Engineering Design Center located in Peoria, IL. This role offers professional growth in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined engineering department.

• Conduct site visits and field inspections of low voltage systems.
• Produce drawings and specifications for low voltage disciplines, including security electronics and telecommunications.
• Perform construction administration: review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents.

• 0‑4 years of experience in related disciplines.
• Strong time management and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and meet multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk CAD, and Revit platforms.

Salary
: $61,000‑$78,000 annually, based on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
