Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Field Technician to join our industry‑leading Nalco Water team. Passionate technical professionals who enjoy interacting with customers and prefer a hands‑on, autonomous environment are invited to apply! In this position you will monitor and maintain a variety of air and water quality systems related to the paint booth at an automotive manufacturing site, providing customers with problem‑solving support that generates a high level of satisfaction.

- Perform daily process application quality analysis using water quality testing equipment.
- Provide routine and special application service support to customers.
- Execute required water quality and chemistry tests.
- Review trends, records, and reports to maintain proper procedures and standards.
- Maintain product inventories.
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support to customers.
- Operate wastewater treatment systems and chemical feed stations.
- Operate Reverse Osmosis system.

East Peoria, IL - Shift: 1st shift
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Obtain the Class K Wastewater Treatment Works Operator License within 1 year of employment.
- Must be able to perform essential duties including lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
- Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer.
- Ability to analyze readings and present data in a spreadsheet logically.
- Above‑average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain results of data gathering.
- Experience in water treatment / RO.

The pay range for this position is $37,000 – $55,400. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
