Overview

Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Field Technician to join our industry‑leading Nalco Water team. What You Will Do

• Perform daily process application quality analysis using water quality testing equipment.
• Provide routine and special application service support to customers.
• Execute required water quality and chemistry tests.
• Review trends, records, and reports to maintain proper procedures and standards.
• Maintain product inventories.
• Provide technical and troubleshooting support to customers.
• Operate wastewater treatment systems and chemical feed stations.
• Operate Reverse Osmosis system.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Obtain the Class K Wastewater Treatment Works Operator License within 1 year of employment.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to perform essential duties including lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
• Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer.
• Ability to analyze readings and present data in a spreadsheet logically.
• Above‑average verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain results of data gathering.
• Experience in water treatment / RO.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $37,000 – $55,400. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
