WhatYou Will Do
- Manage NPI projects (component development) to ensure they are on time, within budget, and aligned with the product strategy.
- Deliver cross‑vertical aftermarket transformation commitments.
- Lead NPI teams by collaborating with component engineering teams and business divisions.
- Assemble the business case for project requests to ensure profitable growth.
- Build relationships with other departments, industry associations, and outside organizations. Assist in marketing the NPI process to customers.
- Identify cost containment opportunities and trends for continuous improvement.
- Apply Lean culture to the NPI process to standardize and reduce development timelines.
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional expertise.
- Planning
:
Develop and manage detailed project plans, WBS, and control accounts for cost, schedule, and scope. - Effective Communications
:
Communicate clearly across cross‑functional teams, present updates to leadership, and negotiate conflicts. - Problem Solving
:
Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and apply DMAIC or 8D methodologies. - Program Management
:
Lead cross‑functional programs from concept through launch, managing scope, budget, and schedule. - Quality Management
:
Implement and maintain quality systems such as ISO 9001, APQP, FMEA, control plans, and SPC. - Completion of 6 Sigma Black Belt training or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Mossville, IL or Peoria, IL office.
Domestic relocation assistance is NOT available. Visa sponsorship is NOT available. The position may require up to 10% travel.
