Job Description:We are seeking an FEA Analyst with recent truck design experience to support simulation activities for truck design and development. The role will involve creating and executing FEA models, running static, modal, and dynamic simulations, evaluating mechanical capacity for strength and fatigue, and providing recommendations to design and validation teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and use FEA models
, independently or with supplier firms. - Set up models and submit simulation jobs to an HPC cluster
. - Perform static, modal, and dynamic simulations
. - Identify and track model quality issues and coordinate corrections.
- Evaluate mechanical capacity related to strength and fatigue
. - Prepare technical reports covering assumptions, models, methods, and results.
- Interpret simulation results and provide recommendations to design, simulation, and validation teams.
- Support improvements to simulation methods and processes.
- Recent Truck Design / Heavy Machinery Experience – MUST HAVE
