- Provide valuable insights to Commercial Vice Presidents, directly impacting Caterpillar’s business, strategy, and growth.
- Serve as investment analysis lead for cross‑functional services growth project teams.
- Advise component and service divisions on aftermarket investment analysis, ensuring consistency and adherence to Caterpillar policies and procedures.
- Provide education to accounting and cross‑functional teams.
- Drive behavior and influence decisions in accordance with financial targets and business unit/division/enterprise strategy.
- Present and explain results to management.
- Participate as a team member on special projects.
- Education/
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. - Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. - Analytical Thinking:
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions. - Effective Communications:
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors. - Financial Analysis:
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) experience.
- Data Analytics experience.
- This position can be located in Peoria, IL or Irving, TX.
- This role requires five days a week in office.
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.

Pay Range: $95,640.00 – $. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on job level, market location, and individual performance and experience. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
