Join us on a 13-week adventure in outpatient occupational therapy right here in Peoria, Illinois. You’ll be working with children up to 18 years old who face challenges such as sensory processing issues, brachial plexus injuries, and autism. Your days will be 8 hours long, Monday through Friday, with scheduled days ending at 4:30 or 5:30 depending on your shift. This role offers a chance to make a real impact while exploring a vibrant city with plenty to offer beyond the clinic.
This assignment is unique because you’ll be providing outpatient therapy in a supportive environment, with access to experienced supervisors. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of up to 10 patients daily, focusing on pediatric developmental needs, and will be supported by a dedicated preceptor. The setting involves outpatient clinics where your expertise in pediatric OT will shine, helping children improve fine motor skills and sensory integration.
