This role involves performing high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients, assisting with exercise and pharmacological stress testing, and supporting related duties as needed.
Qualifications:Requires ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, BLS certification within 30 days, and a background in sonography or related fields. New graduates are welcome.
Key Responsibilities- Performing detailed two-dimensional and Doppler echocardiograms, recognizing abnormalities, and evaluating cardiac functions.
- Using knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and imaging techniques to obtain accurate images.
- Assisting in stress tests and transesophageal echocardiograms, ensuring patient safety and accurate procedure documentation.
- Monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining quality assurance protocols.
- Participating in mobile services, callback rotations, and ongoing professional development.
This role demands technical proficiency, clinical judgment, resourcefulness, and a commitment to continuous learning to support optimal patient care and departmental efficiency.
