- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Vascular/Endovascular procedures.
- Experience with GE equipment.
Description:
Local clinicians may have specific rate considerations. There is a call-off policy in place for clinicians. Orientation includes 12 hours of non-billable training. The department performs an average of 3 cases per day. Common cases include Endovascular and Vascular procedures. Scrubbing is required for this position. Staff will assist with the setup and takedown of the procedure room. There is a charge nurse or house supervisor on each shift.
Surgical techs are available to support the team. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Weeknight call is required 1-2 nights during the week. Weekend call includes Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 AM Monday every 3rd weekend. Holiday call rotation is also required. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Floating within similar units is expected as needed.
Scrubs will be provided by the hospital. Unit-specific orientation will include one week of scrubbing with surgical tech support. The position requires scrubbing for procedures in the operating room. This role is essential in supporting the vascular surgery team.
