Position Summary

The HR Generalist serves as a key Human Resources partner for assigned locations within their division. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruiting and hiring initiatives, rehire request tracking, compliance, and other people-related needs.

The HR Generalist works closely with Regional Coordinators, Recruiters, Operations leadership, and the Corporate HR team to provide consistent HR support and ensure alignment with company policies, processes, and business needs.

Core Responsibilities

Post and manage job advertisements and requisitions for open positions.

Support the hiring process for salaried and other designated positions.

Partner with Recruiters and Regional Coordinators to identify staffing and hiring needs.

Participate in recruiting campaigns, job fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives.

Coordinate interviews and support communication between candidates, hiring managers, and the HR team.

Ensure hiring processes and required documentation are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Employee Relations

Serve as an HR resource for employees and Operations leadership within the assigned division.

Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding workplace issues, company policies, and employment practices.

Support and conduct employee relations conversations, fact-finding, and investigations as assigned.

Partner with HR leadership and Operations leaders on performance management and corrective action.

Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation related to employee relations matters.

Escalate sensitive or complex employee relations matters to HR leadership as appropriate .

Track and manage rehire requests for former employees within the assigned division.

Review available employment history and relevant records to support the rehire review process.

Partner with Recruiters, Regional Coordinators, Operations leadership, and HR leadership to gather relevant information and make recommendations in accordance with company guidelines.
