IBM DataStage Technology Lead

Sonsoft , Inc. is a USA based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

• At least 4 years of experience with DW/BI and related tools, understanding of ETL and ELT concepts
• At least 3 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBM Datastage(v8.5 and above) ETL Projects and other tools on Information Server stack like Quality Stage, Information Ananlyzer, Information Services Director
• At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects
• At least 2 years of experience in using Tera Data and source and/or target for data loads.
• Knowledge of IBM Datastage Architecture, Stages/Transformations, Design, ETL flow, advanced SQLs
• Knowledge Best Practices in Datastage, Performance improvements, implementing CDC, UDFs
• Understanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scripting
• Good knowledge on MF file structures along with RDBMS incl. Oracle and Tera Data.
• Experience in using Data Stage for extracting data from and loading data to Hadoop Cluster.
• Experience in Strategizing, planning and implementing Major and point upgrades for Data Stage
• Experience in Data Stage grid deployment and configuration.
• Provides expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in Manufacturing domain

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of work experience in Information Technology.
