IT Support, Systems Administrator
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Systems Administrator II to provide onsite support for the Component Business Unit in East Peoria and Mossville, IL. This role serves as the first line of defense for hardware and software issues, ensuring users remain productive and connected.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and resolve user incidents and service requests.
- Install, deploy, maintain, and administer computer networks and related environments (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, peripherals).
- Perform system updates, including Microsoft security patches and antivirus definitions.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues; replace defective components as needed.
- Execute data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Partner with Segment CISO on cybersecurity concerns and vulnerabilities.
- Track and manage tickets using internal systems and maintain SLAs through timely resolution.
- Create and update knowledge base articles and user documentation.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service technicians.
- Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.

Qualifications- 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of network experience (basic network troubleshooting, ping machines, checking cables).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make system changes.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay and BenefitsPay range: $30.00 – $30.00/hr.
