• Apply rules, guidelines, insurance laws, and regulations to review, document, and underwrite new and renewal policy transactions within written authority.
• Enter policy information on assigned products, territories, or agencies in accordance with RMA procedure.
• Proof and audit policy information on assigned products, territories, or agencies.
• Review premium and loss data on individual accounts for renewal, change, or mid-term underwriting.
• Review insurance applications and risk documentation; refer applications or requests for further underwriting analysis when outside written authority.
• Gather and investigate information on new and renewal business and change requests.
• Order, review, and act on required reports, endorsement requests, service requests, and general correspondence.
• Analyze individual risk pricing for new business submissions and renewals within written authority.
• Monitor entry and processing to ensure data integrity and avoid potential systemic issues.
• Communicate with agents and customers to obtain needed information and address underwriting issues; research and respond to agent questions.
• Provide support to underwriters by organizing underwriting information and reviewing templates and endorsements within authority level.
• Issue policies and endorsements on a timely basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Equivalently, crop insurance experience is preferred but not required.
• Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary range: $40,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year.
