Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $34.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Paralegal supports the in-house legal needs of OSF Healthcare System and operating units. This position assists in the handling of legal issues such as conducting advanced legal research; assisting in preparing documents, corporate documentation, leases, licenses, insurance, and employment agreements; assisting in compliance audits; performing due diligence; reviewing contracts; and assisting in preparing legal memoranda and pleadings. Will also support contract reviews and risk assessment.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma
• Experience:
  
  Experience as Paralegal or similar position that has worked with contracts and legal documents.
• Other skills/knowledge:
  Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
• Analytical skills necessary to critically think through processes and develop reports.
• Demonstrate oral and written communication skills to work well with various levels within the organization.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.

• Associates Degree in applied Science in a Paralegal Program
