Overview

As a Condition Monitoring Deployment Manager, you will be accountable for delivering superior customer and dealer experience by managing the global Condition Monitoring (CM) Deployment Team. This role focuses on leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will empower your team to deliver world‑class deployments, develop and strengthen CMA training programs worldwide, and advance the tools and processes that make CM a differentiator for our customers.

You’ll be stepping into a space where innovation isn’t just welcomed—it’s required. You’ll shape how Condition Monitoring evolves at a global scale, create structure from complexity, and help others excel in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for ensuring the team delivers and manages roles and responsibilities associated with CM site deployment leading to successful service outcomes.
  • Ensure CM kickoff and commercial communication excellence.
  • Develop and manage a consistent, global deployment methodology and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal team activities to steer efficiencies and sustain deployment processes.
  • Drive standard work for site deployment and CMA interfaces with customers and dealers.
  • Support tool and dashboard development to govern and manage CM team performance.
  • Support tool and dashboard development to deliver value to customers through enhanced CM capabilities and reporting.
  • Organize CMA trainers to implement a global CMA cohort and onboarding plan.
  • Coordinate with CMA SMEs to integrate critical knowledge into the CMA training program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Formal leadership or informal leadership via cross‑functional activity (project management, product development, 6‑Sigma, CPI, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Power‑BI).
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong commercial experience and ability to influence organizational change.
  • Foundational understanding of Condition Monitoring and exposure to equipment applications across mining, quarry, aggregates, and waste environments.
  • Customer focus with direct customer and/or Cat® dealer‑facing experience.
  • Service excellence – knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Consulting – knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients.
  • Effective communications – ability to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Problem solving – knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
  • Relationship management – ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Field support – knowledge of and experience with providing post‑sales support; ability to support maintenance of hardware products.
Additional Information

The primary work location for this role is Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL
, with a requirement to work on‑site full‑time at a Caterpillar facility.

Domestic relocation assistance is available.

This position may require up to 25 % travel.
