This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Mission Support Facilities Division located in Washington, DC.

Overview

This position starts at a salary of $ (GS-14, Step
1) to $ (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $187,093 (GS-14, Step 10).

Typical duties may include:

• Establishing milestones, proper event sequencing, and planning phases for the lifecycle of facility and infrastructure projects.
• Providing program management direction and oversight of the facility project management, operations, and modernization efforts for the Division including planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of the facilities and infrastructure program.
• Leading effective long-term planning, systems analysis, and services to ensure a sustainable, effective, and efficient infrastructure to safely meet facilities and infrastructure program needs.
• Ensuring that actions are sustainable and compatible to execute mission objectives now and in the future by balancing near-term operational needs and longer term capability requirements related to recapitalization and modernization of the CBP infrastructure.
• Preparing special briefings and reports to management to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations for future budget, procurement and travel operational needs.
