Illinois Cancer Care is seeking a full‑time Treatment Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate and collaborative team. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or major holidays, supporting a healthy work‑life balance. As a Treatment Nurse, you’ll be part of a mission‑driven team providing comprehensive, patient‑centered cancer care. You’ll work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and fellow nurses to deliver life‑saving therapies and support patients throughout their treatment journey.

What You’ll Do
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform clinical procedures such as port flushes, dressing changes, injections, and catheterizations.
- Assess patients in person and by phone for side effects, toxicities, emergencies, and overall well‑being.
- Support physicians with diagnostic procedures and report thorough nursing assessments.
- Prepare daily treatment schedules and ensure readiness of teaching materials and clinic resources.
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Respond calmly to emergencies and operate necessary equipment.
- Triage patient calls and collaborate with team nurses to provide timely support.
- Travel to satellite clinics 1–2 days per week to extend care across our network.
- Maintain professional relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, and community partners.
- Stay current with education and obtain OCN certification within 3 years.
- Uphold HIPAA and safety standards in all aspects of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Illinois RN license (required)
- BSN preferred
- 1+ year of clinical nursing experience
- Passion for oncology nursing and patient-centered care
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, emotionally rewarding environment
