This 20-bed Acute Cardiac Intermediate Unit (all private/monitored) cares for high-acuity stepdown cardiac patients (post-ICU, TAVR/EP, HF, trached/vented) at ~1:3 (up to 1:4). Requires strong CVICU/Cardiac ICU background (ideally 2+ years), strip interpretation, Swan/lines/pacemakers/IABP experience, and comfort titrating multiple drips, with ability to float up to ICU and other units. 12-hour shifts (7a–7p/7p–7a), no block scheduling, weekends every other–every third, holidays every other;
BLS required (ACLS preferred). Submission must include last 4 SSN, middle initial, RTO, IL license/confirmation started, and drug-screen readiness.
