This role is a travel-to-permanent registered nurse position in a long-term care facility in Bloomington, IL. The contract lasts 13 weeks with 3x12-hour shifts and offers up to $2,000 per week, with the option to transition to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Complete head-to-toe assessments and update care plans
- Monitor resident conditions and document changes accurately
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs and provide clinical leadership on shift
- Ensure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health management
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum one year of nursing experience
- Strong documentation and time management skills
Skills:
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Active Illinois RN license, BLS, and one-year experience. Skilled in direct resident care and medication administration. Able to supervise LPNs/CNAs and lead shift teams
